Munich High-End, which was due to run from May 13th to May 16th in 2021, has now been postponed until September 9th, finishing September 12th. This is the second time the original timings have changed.
Obviously the more than pesky human malware is the cause, with countries in Europe having extended lock downs attributed to rises in Covid-19 cases including in Germany and the UK. Not the time for people to be travelling about and also with mass inoculations of the new Covid-19 vaccine likely to be going on into the first part of the year when the event would usually run. One sincerely hopes that Covid-19’s days are numbered by at least the middle of next year!
You can visit the Munich High End website here for fuller details.
So far as consumers are concerned, this is a great HiFi show to go to in order to talk to the designers, check out products and new product releases too with lots of new announcements. The numbers of exhibitors is huge and the MOC a grand place.
A fantastic place to add a city visit too! Not perhaps the best for listening to HiFi as everyone knows the importance of room acoustics and familiarity in the mix, but so far as the sheer number of exhibitors and products, hard to fault.
