I’ve got to the stage now where answering emails is filling up lots of my time so if you would like me to help with impartial advice, please pledge support on my Patreon Page and I will do my best to help you. A website review has to walk down the middle for manufacturers and consumers in fairness to both sides. Therefore Patreon offers a unique way for me to keep helping with impartial advice where punters really want to know warts and all experiences, in a brutally honest fashion still, but in a private space. This honesty is one of the aims of my review project, so what better way than utilising a subscription platform.

Sometimes, HiFi opinions are as far apart as peas and carrots, or love and marriage. However advice from those like me, who have impartial views, test loads and loads of products, and have no financial interest in purchases you make (I do not benefit from sales), will take the hard work out of product shortlists or buying decisions. Selecting the best products too of course! Also please don’t succumb to *loyalistas* on forums or social media, who will only select or recommend products they own and be un-willing to see the shortcomings in gear;- I select products based on features, looks and sonics, as well as price, and taking out my personal sonic preferences. System integration is important too. I own products that are sometimes more expensive than those that perform better, and I am very happy to say!
